Healing Through Horseplay was founded in 2001 by Barbara Currence and Kay Glawe. These professionals built upon their counseling skills to include the use of equine partners as a method of reaching out to their clients, whether they are individuals, families or groups.

Barbara Currence, LPC

Located in McKinney, Texas, Healing Through Horseplay operates on a year-round basis in a beautiful country setting. All sessions are held privately with the individual, family or group, and complete confidentiality is assured.

Kay Glawe, LPC

Mike Currence is an equine professional with Healing Through Horseplay. He has owned horses and studied horse behavior for many years. He attends seminars on training horses and is certified as an equine professional.
